Vari tandoolachi khichdi (Bhagar)  

Ingredients
 
1 cup vari tandool (also known as Samo in Indian grocery stores),
1 medium sized potato(optional),
2 green chilies,
1 tablespoon
peanut powder
1 teaspoon cumin seeds,
salt to taste,
coriander leaves,
2 teaspoon ghee.
 
Method

1. Wash vari tandool in water. Drain all the water and keep aside.

2. Wash, peel and chop the potato. Chop chilies and coriander leaves.

3. Heat ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds. When they splutter, add chilies and potatoes. Fry till potatoes are done. Meanwhile heat 2 cups of water in a separate pan. Let it boil and keep aside.

4. Add vari tandool and fry for a minute. Add boiled water, peanut powder, salt and stir. Cover for a minute or till all the water contents evaporate.

7. Remove the lid and mix. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
