1 cup vari tandool (also known as Samo in Indian grocery stores), 1 medium sized potato(optional), 2 green chilies, 1 tablespoon peanut powder 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, salt to taste, coriander leaves, 2 teaspoon ghee. |

| Method 1. Wash vari tandool in water. Drain all the water and keep aside. 2. Wash, peel and chop the potato. Chop chilies and coriander leaves. 3. Heat ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds. When they splutter, add chilies and potatoes. Fry till potatoes are done. Meanwhile heat 2 cups of water in a separate pan. Let it boil and keep aside. 4. Add vari tandool and fry for a minute. Add boiled water, peanut powder, salt and stir. Cover for a minute or till all the water contents evaporate. 7. Remove the lid and mix. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot. |
